Located in the charming seaside town of Cavtat, this villa isset within a large garden and enjoys fantastic views over the sea from the swimming pool area.Situated a short walk from Cavtat Old Town’s many bars and cafés, thevilla would suit a family or group of friends who wish to relax onnearby beaches but also have the option of day trips further afield.
Guests enter the property through a large gate into a drive/parkingarea from which a short flight of steps leads up to the ground floor.The main entrance to the property leads into to an open plankitchen/dining area which is connected to the lounge by two steps. Thereis also a shower room on this level. The first floor of the property isaccessed via an open staircase (one handrail and slightly steeper thanusual) and features a twin room, a triple room (one double bed and onesingle bed) with sea view balcony and a separate shower room. The gardenand terrace with sofa and coffee table are accessed via French doorsfrom the lounge. The house is surrounded by a stepped garden filled withfruits and vegetables to which guests can help themselves. There isalso an outdoor dining and BBQ area located at the rear of the property.
The villa is ideally located for exploring the nearby city ofDubrovnik and an hourly boat service to the old town harbour operatesfrom April until October. Cavtat itself is home to a enchantingpromenade dotted with bars and restaurants and taking a walk up to theRacic Mausoleum, built by celebrated Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic, rewards guests with magnificent views over the bay.

Pricing Information
Pricing is calculated per property per night in GBP Sterling. Many destinations also require tourist tax to be paid. Tourist tax starts from approximately £1 per adult per night, and £0.50 per night per child aged 12-17 at time of travel. If tourist tax is applicable to the destination you are travelling to, this will be shown in the booking process. For tourist tax payable at time of booking, the cost will be added to your subtotal. For tourist tax payable locally, the cost will be shown at time of booking and on documentation.

Booking Information
A 30% deposit is required at time of booking. Full balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival.
If booking within 10 weeks of arrival, the full cost of the villa must be paid at the time of booking.

Good website and selection of villas.
Option to hire bikes - owner very kindly provided 2 but we would have happily booked good quality hire bikes in advance to have delivered to the villa.
Traffic noise from road next to villa and aircraft noise as directly under the flight path. Probably need to be mentioned.
At one point an overwhelming smell of sewerage in the villa which the owner responded to immediately and fixed. Was very apologetic and gave a bottle of wine. Smell returned a couple of days later but we fixed as the owner had showed us - bleach down all the plug holes. He said it happened at most once a year and was outside his control as it was the town Seward overloaded with heavy rain.
The direct walk to the village is down a very busy road without a footpath - owner suggested we walk through the hotel opposite and used their lifts down to harbour side. Did this but felt a bit awkward!
Incredibly helpful and polite. Allowed us to use produce from the garden which was a surprise and a great addition.

Favourite villa moment: Picking produce from the garden and the owner - such a helpful friendly man, desperate to please.
Stayed September 2016Excellent. It was a perfect location and the surprise was we could eat any veg/herbs straight from the garden.
Although the booking was all done online it felt a very personal service.
Impressed with: The seas, crystal clear and perfect for swimming.
Not impressed with: The supermarket and fruit and veg stalls were very basic, lots of flies and miserable staff.
Recommend: Visiting Korcula by boat
Favourite villa moment: Buses to Dubrovnik very easy and simple to navigate. Island of Lopud simply beautiful much cheaper to get bus to Dubrovnik and ferry from there rather than ferry from Cavtat, you also get to spend more time on the island. Restaurant Dalmatia in Cavtat great food and most friendly service. Watching the water polo in the sea great fun.
We booked the transfer from the airport which was great.Stayed July 2013
