Surrounded by orange, Cypress and olive trees, this Molunat villa with infinity pool is perched on the Western Bay of Molunat in Dubrovnik’s southern region. With elevated views across the Adriatic sea, this luxury villa occupies a perfect spot for those looking for a more quiet secluded retreat to enjoy this part of the Mediterranean. With two shaded terraces and an infinity pool there’s plenty of space for guests to relax and enjoy this authentic Mediterranean villa..

The approach to the villa is by country road where guests can park their car in the shaded parking bays. Entering the villa, guests step into an elegantly decorated spacious open plan living room and dining area with terracotta floors throughout and an oakwood kitchen. A sliding glass door opens out onto one of the terraces.There are three bedrooms on this floor with double beds, all with ensuite shower rooms. The lower floor has one bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Two of the rooms have balconies with sea views, one on each floor. The infinity pool is surrounded with a terrace that overlooks the bay offering spectacular sunset views. The terrace has deck chairs, cabana daybeds and a canopy for shade, there’s also another shaded terrace that can be used for dining. The beach is accessed via a 10 minute walk down steps below the villa.

Car hire is recommended if staying at this villa. Only forty kilometers south of Dubrovnik and 25 from its airport Molunat is a quiet fishing village set in a small cove dotted with Cypress trees, with its turquoise waters its a real gem. The village is one kilometre from the villa where guests will find a shop and cafe.  Enjoying its own microclimate, the bay offers pleasant weather conditions from very early to very late in the season.
It’s a great spot to explore this part of the coast. A twenty minute drive takes you just over the border into the town of Igalo in Montenegro, a more built up town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Igalo joins into the town of Herceg Nova, an historic area with boutique shops, and a pretty medieval old town and fort, it’s a must to visit.

Inland is the Adriatic’s tallest peak, Mount Orjen, at 1,894 metres there’s lots of trails for keen hikers and of course stunning views out over the Mediterranean.
